I am Harisa P. A, a research scholar at the School of International Relations and Politics, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. My research interests span various domains, including public space, urban studies, the digital domain, religion and its transformations, and gender studies.

My ongoing research project titled "Faith in Neo-Liberal Frontiers: On the Architecture of Public Space and Religiosity in Kerala" aims to examine the implications for faith in the context of changing public spaces in Kerala, with a specific focus on gender and digitally mediated religiosity.

In today's neoliberal world scenario, urban studies hold immense relevance. Urban spaces serve as centers for economic, social, and cultural activities, and understanding their dynamics is crucial in analyzing the impact of neoliberalism on various aspects of society, including religion and gender. Urban spaces play a pivotal role in shaping the dynamics and vibrancy of modern societies.
