After a PhD in France and a post-doc in Amsterdam, Juliette Alenda-Demoutiez is now an Assistant Professor in Economics at the Chair of Economic Theory and Policy in the Department of Economics at Radboud Universiteit.
She focuses on (institutional) transformations for sustainable development, through a political economy approach,particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. She is also dedicated to broader research and educational topics, such as decentering knowledge production and wording classrooms. She coordinates the interdisciplinary research group TransAct (Transformative sustainable change in Action) and the Participatory Policy Hub with Sustainable Futures Global.
